Our favorite place: Castle of Hradek. It is not old, built only 150 years ago based on a design by Edward Buckton Lamb, it is a beautifully decorated romantic neo-Gothic chateau in the Tudor Gothic style.

The communists ordered the castle painted yellow in the 1950s, not to interfere with the red color of their banners. The castle is currently being returned to the look it had when the Harrach family owned it.
